Happy Halloween!

MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Since Halloween is tomorrow, I thought I might post this "grotesque" segment from one of my favorite movies, Fantasia. Not only is this fit for Halloween, but there's also a solid history behind it, and therefore significant, no matter the holiday.  If you're seriously scared of ghosts, I suggest you don't watch this! Or, the least you can do is flip to Ave Maria at the end. Or, if you'd like to do neither, this poster I own is a pretty good recap of what happens, sans unicorns:

Monthly Update: October 2011

All right, we have some comics to review! Now these are the ones that I currently own, and might be reviewing as soon as I get everybody else in place. I haven't exactly finished reading either of them yet, but I have written my own little descriptions on the comic stories as I see it...

copyright Warner Brothers, 2011 (image from Forbidden Planet)
Looney Tunes No. 203 (DC, Gross)
Description: Bugs Bunny goes head-to-head with Lola Bunny in a roller derby; Witch Hazel needs Hubie and Bertie for an experiment; Tweety participates in the Olympics; Bugs Bunny tricks a baseball ump

Now this is the one I might not get to review, due to the other things that are coming out this month:
copyright Bongo Comics, 2011 (image from League of Comic Geeks)
Sergio Aragones Funnies No. 3 (Bongo, Aragones)
Description: Sergio has a comic idea; a lion wants to travel to the city; Sergio meets a famous cellist

ComicBookReview welcomes you!

Hey it rhymes!

Anywho, on with the show, 'cuz this is it! Warts and all! From comic books to PEZ dispensers to old cartoons to classical music to anything with a cartoony root, it's gonna be here! Sure, I know the title's a tad stupid considering it's not just for reviewing comics anymore, but I'm sure we'll get a chance to do some reviewing as soon as ComicBookReview kicks off. Be on the lookout for my own characters (which belong to me) my own comic books (+80, folks) classical music mainstream audiences despise, and of course, my absolute favorite cartoons OF ALL TIME, my sorta-DVD collection, and other irrelevant flights o' fancy!
